When I photograph a wedding, I photograph it completely.
Some approaches to wedding photography offer a couple of hours of time photographing the wedding, time which is mostly spent in photographing groups before the ceremony, the ceremony itself, and additional group photos and some portraits after the ceremony. A little more extensive coverage might involve photos of specific elements of the reception, such as the bouquet toss, cake cutting, and toasts.
This IS your mom’s wedding photography. These photographers often come cheaper, but they also offer less.
My approach to wedding photography is to tell the story of your entire day … or as much of it as you will allow me to photograph. For this reason, all of my premium packages include unlimited hours of wedding day coverage.
Telling a story is a great way to make a wedding album really stand out. Albums are included in all packages, even the budget packages, because I want you to have a lasting way to share your memories with each other, as well as with your family and friends.
But the best thing about my approach to wedding photography is that you won’t spend your day trying to pose to please your wedding photographer. The majority of my photos — and by far the best photos of the day — are captured without you having to do anything special, and often without you even knowing it.
You will see moments of your wedding and reception that you missed and expressions on the faces of your parents and friends. You will see details of the wedding and reception that you may not have had time to enjoy on your wedding day.
You will also see fleeting looks between the two of you that in years to come will remind you of the feelings you had for each other on your wedding day. Posed photos don’t capture this as well, if at all, so don’t miss the chance to capture those images of love for a lifetime!
