Eleven years ago, Cathy and Baron got married.
Last month, they did it again, renewing their vows in a beautiful, intimate ceremony in the Pinnacle Room atop the Peabody Hotel in Little Rock.
A lot of couples do this, but usually it’s after 10 years of marriage. Why 11?
For the answer to that, check out the portraits and [...]
One of my joys, when I get the chance, is shooting rugby. There’s not a lot of money in shooting rugby, at least not in this country, so I’ve never hoped to do it for a living.
I do like to watch rugby. I used to play rugby. And, it goes without saying, I love combining my [...]
Melissa and Chase’s wedding album will be here in a few days. Meanwhile, I’ve put together an online preview of the pages. Nothing beats seeing the albums in person, though, so if you’re getting married and want a look, contact me to set up an appointment.
A big thanks to the Pro Photo Business Forum, where the [...]
This was a beautiful, very simple wedding. Pam and Chris and a few of their friends went to the Old Mill in North Little Rock on a Wednesday afternoon. The reception was at their beautiful new home in Sherwood.
I love the way one photo echos the other one here.
There were numerous small touches that [...]
Jacob and Tiffany’s wedding is only a couple of days away. In the meantime, I wanted to share a fun story from their engagement session.
We went down next to the railroad tracks in the Riverdale area of Little Rock to take photos. There’s a great little metal building down by the tracks in Riverdale. We were [...]
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Bridal Show is only a week away, and I’ve been busy getting ready.
If you are a bride you should definitely plan to attend. Just sampling the different caterers’ offerings is worth the price of admission. Tickets are $5 in advance and can be purchased here. Tickets are $7 at the door.
This is a [...]
I met Amy and Rich at Murray Park in Little Rock for their engagement photos. This was a stand-alone engagement session since the couple is getting married out of state.
The usually quiet park was unexpectedly busy with a kids’ birthday party, plus what seemed like half of Little Rock coming out to enjoy the great weather. [...]
It’s been a long two weeks. The kids have been cooped up in the house most of the time because of the rain. But the last few days have been beautiful, and we are appreciating them all the more because of the bad weather we had before.
Charlie rolls in the grass in our back yard.
A call from a bride who is getting married at the Little Rock Manor House prompted me to look back and see how many photos I blogged from Mindy and Billy’s wedding there in April 2008. The total: two. There were so many good photos from this wedding and I thought I’d share a few more.
I did an engagement photo session at Mount Petit Jean yesterday. For the non-Arkansans out there, Petit Jean is one of the most beautiful, as well as one of the most romantic, locations in Arkansas. From the park website’s history page:
The Legend of Petit Jean, and how the mountain received its name, begins in the 1700′s [...]
