Alicia and Korey were married April 14th at Sylvan Hills Community Church, with their reception just down the road at The Greens and North Hills.
This couple has been a delight from the very beginning. I realize I have yet to show you all of Alicia’s bridals (and don’t worry, those are coming!) but I just couldn’t resist sharing the wedding photos for another day. This was such a lovely and emotional wedding, with so many good photos, it was tough to figure out which ones to share. In the end, I still wound up with many more than the usual number for a blog post, including — yes — two ring photos. I couldn’t help sharing the Razorback one, but I like the other one, too!
I hope you enjoy seeing Alicia and Korey’s love captured in these images.
One of my favorite things: the facial tissues with Alicia and Korey’s wedding colors, and “For Your Tears of Joy” on the front.
The first look was an emotional moment. Korey looked so nervous!
Somehow, in almost every wedding I have photographed in the past year, the groom or one of the other guys gets landed with the flowers for a while, and they hold the bouquet like it was about to bite them! I love this moment, and the look on the guy’s face!
More nervous looks, from both the groom and the father of the bride, as they wait for the ceremony to begin.
The flower girls steel themselves for their big moment.
The ring bearer was all too ready for his big moment. He tried to leave early two different times! I should have held him longer for these pictures, because just after I finished, he took off.
There are photographers who complain about guests’ flashes going off (and I’ve been known to do it, too!) but it seems like more often than not, they just make the photo better.
I’ve had a good run recently of grooms singing to brides. Is this a new trend? I hope so! I like it!
No LSU ties allowed at the Razorback wedding!
I’m a big ‘ol sucker for father-daughter dances, and this was a great one. Nice enough to show it twice.
